My family and friends enjoyed a diverse selection of dishes at the restaurant. The service was quick and friendly, and our meals arrived in a timely manner at an ideal temperature. Everything we ordered was delicious and cooked perfectly. We're looking forward to our next visit!
I went to dinner with friends who were eager to enjoy the live music, which was fantastic. The restaurant was very busy, creating a vibrant atmosphere, and our server was attentive despite the crowd. However, our food took about 45 minutes to arrive. The fries were cold and greasy. I ordered the black bean pack, but it lacked flavor, there was no chipotle sauce, and it was mostly just iceberg lettuce. I didn't realize they had taken apart a burger instead of including black beans, and overall it was quite bland. My husband ordered a burger as well and was also disappointed.
We just went through and found this place. An original cool old building. It was her steak night, which was a good meal and a great value. Beautiful selection of local beers as well.
Wonder Bar did not disappoint! We sat at the bar and struck up a conversation with the owner, who took great pride in the restoration of this beloved establishment. He shared the story of Eddie's Wonder Bar and how it transformed into the vibrant sports bar it is today—though the sports screens were not overpowering. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we indulged in two generous plates of mouthwatering tacos, accompanied by frosty, oversized Margaritas. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and left no food behind. Our experience was so enjoyable that we made a point to return weeks later on our way back for dinner. This time, we savored hand-made burgers paired with crispy, hand-cut fries and local draft beers. Afterward, we took a charming sunset stroll around town. A visit to Milan also allows for a lovely walk after lunch or dinner through this historic town, which is the birthplace of Thomas Edison. Once a thriving community thanks to a canal that connected Lake Erie with a railroad for transporting goods, Milan offers historical museums, informative signs, and charming shops. However, the real pleasure lies in wandering and admiring the many fantastic old buildings while digesting the generous portions from Wonder Bar. I highly recommend this spot!
