Satsumaya - Mihara

I had the champon and gyoza. The moment I saw the color of the soup in the champon, I had a feeling it was going to be delicious. It had a nostalgic flavor that wasn't just about the stir-fried vegetables on top; the soup and the vegetables were in perfect harmony. It was a taste I really enjoyed. The noodles were thin, which felt a bit disappointing, but it was still very good. The flavor reminded me of the champon from Ide in Saga. The gyoza was homemade, filled generously, and had a fantastic texture. I was very satisfied. However, the restaurant is a bit hard to find.

The owner was very friendly and generously offered us several mandarins.

This was my first time trying champon in Japan, and it was incredibly delicious and healthy! It reminded me of home. The elderly couple who own the restaurant are so lovely. They even gave us free tangerines! I felt a sense of parental care and love from them, almost like we were their own son and daughter. It was a wonderful experience!
