L Osteria del Becco - Miguel Hidalgo

We immediately fell in love with the real Italian food and huge Italian wine cellars in osteria del becco, when we moved to polanco 2 years ago. now we are regular. for something very special with friends, we ask the owner rolly to organize for us a dinner and wine pair evening. last night was spectacular; 5 amazing courses with delicious Italian wines that none of us had ever tried before. we recommend this for anyone who plans something else with wow factor for a group birthday or other prominent occasion.

This restaurant can be a little challenging to find but it is worth the effort. It is very well appointed with white tablecloths and a nice modern decor. It would be a good date-night choice. The service is attentive without being pretentious. Our food came...to the table quickly, almost too quickly for our taste. The menu is extensive, and there are some vegetarian options available....although those are limited. The wine selection is large, with many “by the glass” options. For those people who do not know any Spanish, you might be in some trouble since the staff appears to only speak Spanish.

Quiet but chic, the black truffle pasta is to die for.

El servicio es excelente, los vinos son deliciosos y la combinación de ingredientes es única y sabrosa. Las porciones son generosas y los postres son excelentes.

Buen lugar, pero al llegar, si no conoces el lugar previamente, parece que está cerrado porque le falta iluminación en la entrada.
