Midway Mercantile

The food itself was just average, comparable to what you'd expect from a chain restaurant, which definitely wasn't worth the wait. We also ordered a slice of pie to acknowledge the birthday noted in our reservation, but they seemed completely unaware and forgot about it. We ended up waiting another 15 minutes to get the pie, which the waitress did comp for us, but overall, the service felt disorganized and unprofessional. To make matters worse, the bathrooms were under renovation, with a tarp separating the kitchen area from the women's restroom, which seemed not up to code and rather off-putting. The men's bathroom was also out of soap, raising concerns about hygiene, especially with so many male servers. If you're accustomed to quality dining, Midway Mercantile no longer meets those standards.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the food was excellent too. However, I think they could benefit from adding more options for kids. Overall, it’s definitely worth the trip to Midway, and I plan to come back many more times. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp available.

I think I’m putting this restaurant in my top 5 dinner spots ever! The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. They had a whole room in the back and an outdoor section that I didn’t see, but the place was packed and the food was very fresh. Even the pizza was great which is a hard find outside of the NY/NJ area. Would love to come back.

This is a great and casual spot for fine dining. The coconut bathed mussels and clams was the best appetizer I’ve had in my life. The broth is extremely rich, savory, and delicious. The shrimp and grits is also extremely savory with a wonderful sauce. Wine and service also on point!

I love the place and location. The food was pretty good but expensive for the amount of food you get! Plus the menu is a little different. Take a look at my photo of the menu. Not your traditional items but they do have kids menu items!
