Hires Big H - Midvale

We visited this restaurant during our holiday after reading a blog post about Hires, and we’re so glad we did! We highly recommend the Grilled Lemon Chicken Supreme, Grilled Reuben, Cranberry Oven Roasted Turkey Sandwich, the beet salad, the onion rings with fry sauce, and the large root beer in a frosted cup! Since it was our first time and we weren’t sure what to order, the staff was incredibly friendly and helped us choose. We enjoyed the food and the staff so much that we came back the very next day before heading home!

The food was absolutely delicious; you can really tell they put effort into their cooking! The cold cup for the root beer was a nice touch as well. Everything in the picture came to just $30.

We hadn't visited this restaurant in years, but we decided to take our four children there tonight. The food was even better than we remembered! The burgers were fantastic, and the kids' hot dogs were one of the best options we saw for children. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the side of fries. It seemed like the fries had been stretched as thin as possible; we ordered three baskets, but it felt like there was only one or one and a half worth of fries. Honestly, it looked like they were intentionally spreading them out just to make it appear like there was more.

Had the peach shake and grilled ham and cheese. Food was decent, service was great. We got there just as it was about to close and they didn't make us feel unwelcome. Refreshing change.

I love Hired Big H! The service is always fast and accommodating. The world's best Root Beer Floats come from here. Highly recommend
