Park Cafe - Midleton

Had a beautiful meal but just options were very limited

Lovely place, great for the kids to run around in the outdoor area in a good day. Very cool bar made out of a horse trailer and sometimes a barbeque. There was a signer and saxafonist playing at the inside bar. The food was excellent and when it got a bit darker they provided blankets which were great.

Didn’t get many great shots of the food, but it was all very good! I was quite pleasantly surprised by this bar/restaurant and definitely plan on returning. Very cozy with a good full bar. All the normal beer offerings, but they also had a Killarney IPA on draught which was very surprising. I also noticed some bottles from that brewery. Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, I would recommend this bar/restaurant if in the area.

Food was tasty once it was served, they brought the food out in two parts, main part of the dish and then the side 25mins later. By which tome the main part was cold. The service is very slow and very limited. I sat for 30mins without drinks, meanwhile the staff were stud at the bar chatting. I thought I'd got the attention of two people who just walked on by........ Very disappointing, could be so much better.

Beautiful meal, top quality, 5 stars to the chefs and the menu! The service could be more efficient, quite hard to get a drink, but it didn’t put us off.
