Gerardo's Casita - Midland

I called the restaurant to express my displeasure, but it seems that the same waitress who took my order was the one who gave me my food. She also failed to give me an accurate estimate of when my order would be ready. I was promised a refund, but have not received one as of today. The lack of communication and poor service overshadowed the issue of being short-staffed.

The food at this restaurant is always delicious! I tried the street tacos and they were just as yummy as I expected. The apple pie with ice cream was also rich and heavenly.

The service at this restaurant is excellent. The salsa and chips are both delicious, especially if you ask for the verde or green salsa. The food is decently prepared and arrives hot. However, it may be considered to be a bit Americanized Mexican cuisine. Overall, it is a safe choice, especially for families or tourists. I've heard that the pork chops are particularly tasty.

Food was decent. I had the beef flautas, but was missing some spicy salsa to go with my dish. The salsa they have is not spicy at all. I had a margarita on the rocks and was not too impressed. Our server was very attentive. We had our plates served to usin no time.

I had the best Hawaiian lava flow drink tonight, I only had two.
