Meemom's Middletown

The service was horrible, and the waitress never brought us our waters, never checked on us, and when she finally did, it was to drop off a check. The food was mediocre, and the coffee was nasty. The only good thing was the French toast. My omelet was gross. May have been an off day, but I am not willing to pay 43 dollars for 2 people to eat breakfast that I can make better at home.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. The restaurant was clean and layed out well. The staff was attentive and friendly. But their food was beyond delicious. Especially the specialty French Toast, paired with a dreamlike Cappuccino.

What a nice place to grab breakfast! The staff were all so pleasant, and the menu included some fun seasonal treats! We got there early so there wasn't a wait, but by the time we left there were people sitting outside waiting for tables.

We ate at Meemom's today and it was fantastic. I had not been there in a while and went online to read the reviews. The first one that popped up talked about the service being terrible, but I have been there before and have never had that problem. I have to say that the service was EXCELLENT !!!! Very friendly and a nice atmosphere. We were asked multiple times if we needed anything and our waiter was Excellent. The food was also very good. We will definately be coming back. I DID WANT TO ALSO STATE THAT YOU SHOULD NOT BELIEVE ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS THAT PEOPLE LEAVE. There are clearly some miserable people In this world that can not be pleased by anything and want to make sure they share their negativity. MEEMOM'S IS A GREAT PLACE TO EAT PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

Coffee was watered down and nearly undrinkable. We were especially appalled by the service. The signature spuds were so overdone that they were burnt. I could not get the taste out of my mouth. We ordered a wrap and an omelet: the server entered this as two omelets. We were presented a check with an additional credit card service charge (that was not clearly marked as a credit card service charge) but we were paying cash. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options not clearly labeled, but we found some. We are surprised this was listed as a vegetarian restaurant on Google maps. Aside from paltry offerings, we did not get the food we ordered and some ingredients were not included : like cheese in the omelet. For my friend 's veggie wrap order, they gave him an omelet instead. We believe because they didn 't have ingredients and it was probably the only vegetarian option they could make.
