Luce - Middletown

Love Luce! Start off with a fresh shrimp cocktail, clams casino and a fine Bourbon. Then the highlight, a fantastically flavorful ribeye steak with sauted mushrooms and onions on the side and some asparagus and I am a very happy man!

Staff was friendly, food was great! Calamari tasted so fresh and the sauces it came with were fantastic. Sausage pasta was great. And steak and cheese sandwich was pretty good too. Tiramisu was a bit more bitter than what I'm used to. Lava cake was dense but good. And the cheesecake was amazing, especially that sauce that was on the plate. I'm giving it a 5 because I'd come back to try other items off the menu.

Very delightful place. Menu has something for everyone. Food came out in a timely manner. Server was attentive. Portobello mushroom panini was delicious. Fried calamari was done to perfection. Great atmosphere for outside dining. We will be back again.

I would rate ZERO STARS if I could. We made reservations for my aunts birthday who came all the way down from Vermont for a nice meal. Service was terrible. We had ordered our food around 6:30 and didn’t get food until 7:45. Saw our waiter maybe 2 times. When our food did come. My aunts dish was bland. My dads dish tasted frozen and the meat was just plain hamburg. My uncles food tasted as if there was bleach in his food. And my food is as very griddy. I started pulling out a dirt like object and sand. As if my food was dropped on the floor. And it was every bite that was like that. All of us couldn’t even eat our food and they still charged us almost $300. Something similar has happened to my mom here before. She had a hair in her food and they offered to remake it so they did. Again the second dish had hair. So there is twice where the food is just disgusting and not edible. Do not come here if you plan on having a nice dinner. Within a half hour of eating the food I had an upset stomach and so did my sister and dad. COME AT YOUR OWN RISK

For moms birthday it's beautiful friendly service my brother had a clam appetizer should have had 4 or more for the price raiseen jam but they said it was delicious
