American Eatery - Middletown

The restaurant staff was very professional and courteous. The food was good.

We were traveling to Washington DC and started to get hungry. We saw a sign for Wendy's and decided to stop there. We got off the highway and couldn't find Wendy's, so we seen the diner and stopped there. I had the burger plater and a drink my friend had the patty melt and drink. Both meals were the best we have had. The service was very good and the price was better than Wendy's. If you're in the area do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't be disappointed. Your new customers from Connecticut.

I have stopped quite often during my truck driving days and during our travels north-south but their prices have risen very much recently. Even though the food is still good it has become very expensive to eat in a truck stop here and we might have to dine elsewhere.
