フィードバックを提供するThis is a truly fantastic restaurant. Be sure to set aside some time to savor a cocktail at the bar either before or after your meal, or even both! I'm confident that you won't make a bad choice with anything on the menu. If you're uncertain about what to order, don't hesitate to ask the staff for recommendations—they all seem to have sampled most, if not all, of the dishes available.
The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating, even without a reservation for our group. The jambalaya, étouffée, maple duck, and grouper special received rave reviews from everyone. The dark chocolate crème brûlée was a delightful twist on a classic dessert, and the pecan pie was simply outstanding.
This restaurant had an elegant atmosphere without feeling snobby. I visited with two coworkers the night before we headed home from a business trip, and I was pleasantly surprised to find Creole cuisine in the Madison, WI area. I couldn't resist trying it right away! I ordered the Crawfish Etouffee and a 4-piece sampler platter to share with my colleagues. One coworker had the sautéed shrimp, while the other chose the barbecue shrimp. The BBQ-loving coworker is quite particular about his food; he enjoyed the shrimp from my sampler but thought his main dish was just average. However, my other coworker and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals—they were fantastic! We also indulged in a few rounds of bourbon and a margarita with dinner. The hostess was delightful, and we appreciated the casual conversation with her. If I ever find myself back in the area, I will certainly return!
Fantastic Restaurant! The food was creative and beautifully prepared. Apps we had the combo platter for two then a garden salad with homemade blue cheese dressing. The entree was one of the specials. Grilled swordfish. Posting pics below.
Feels like a characteristic slice of New Orleans in an easy to reach location. Prompt and pleasant service, great food and atmosphere.
