Royal Oak Coffee - Middlebury

I had an excellent cup of coffee at this place! The barista was friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was fantastic.

There are a variety of unique coffee choices available at this restaurant, but most importantly, they are all executed perfectly. The staff is extremely friendly and pays close attention to your order. Although the space is small, it is a cozy coffee shop well worth a visit. You can sit at the counter inside and listen to their vinyl music, or take your order to go and explore downtown. Either way, you will leave satisfied.

This coffee spot was laid-back and relaxed. It's not the place to go if you're in a hurry for a quick cup of coffee, but one of the highlights is watching the barista carefully craft each latte. Because of this attention to detail, each drink receives the barista's full focus. I had a great conversation with him, and I think he might be the owner. He seemed incapable of having a bad day and was genuinely friendly and welcoming to everyone who came in. His positive attitude left me feeling good for the rest of the day.
