We only spent one night at the hotel, and while the rooms show promise, our overall experience was marred by several issues. The staff needs retraining, particularly in terms of room upkeep. The bedding was notably worn out and torn, and the absence of a plug adaptor rendered the bedside tables unusable. The shower required thorough cleaning, evident from cobwebs accumulating dust over time, indicating a lack of recent maintenance. Furthermore, the air conditioning remote was faulty, making it challenging to set it to a comfortable temperature. Despite our preference for open windows, excessive noise from the adjacent restaurant forced us to keep them shut. Our assigned room, 102, was only two units away from the restaurant, which proved to be a significant problem. The restaurant displayed a lack of consideration for overnight guests, with loud music and guest banter persisting well after 23:00. This disrupted our sleep and contradicted our expectation of a peaceful, remote location. The inclusive breakfast, albeit offering limited options, partially redeemed the experience. We appreciated the flexibility to choose from other breakfast items not included for overnight guests, even if the cost difference was negligible. However, this redemption was short-lived. During check-out, we discovered an error in our bill, reflecting an outstanding amount of just under R400 for an aspirant dinner we never had. The receptionist appeared uncertain in handling the situation, offering a hesitant apology and assuring us that she would rectify the issue with the manager. This final hiccup tainted our overall impression of the hotel, leaving us with a sense of disappointment and frustration. We sincerely hope that improvements are made for the benefit of future guests.

Clean, beautiful place. The breakaway you will enjoy from the busy city. The roaming Zebra’s, the friendly staff, the clean rooms, the amazing view and most importantly the amazing food and service.
