Leña Al Fuego - Michigan City

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The authentic food was delicious and very affordable. I ordered two chicken tostadas piled high with toppings, along with chips, guacamole, and a Coke—all for just $10. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly friendly. You place your order at the window and then can grab a table; they bring your food to you. I’m really glad I decided to stop by!

I had never realized there was a Mexican restaurant on this side of the mall. I decided to try their two steak tacos, served Mexican style. They were reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. I've sampled tacos from various places in Michigan City, but this one truly stands out. The service was quick and friendly, and the tortillas were soft while the steak was packed with flavor. My son remarked that each bite was deliciously different. I’ll definitely be returning for more!

I was feeling hungry and didn’t want a hotdog or to leave the mall, so I decided to give this restaurant a try, and I was pleasantly surprised. Everything is made to order, and the steak pork tacos were excellent. My wife ordered a gigantic burrito, which she really enjoyed as well. The prices were reasonable, but keep in mind that everything is sold a la carte. Overall, I’d give the food a 5 out of 5!

It was very bad the health inspector came in and almost shut the place down we asked for a steak dinner and later came back saying they didn’t have steak I’m guessing there temperatures where bad and where forced to throw it away so I rate it a 0/10 also the workers where NOT wearing hair nets and when the Health inspector came in they quickly put them on ?
