What sets this four-year-old coffee shop apart from others is its diverse amount of coffee choices. Pasion del Cielo carries 11 different varieties of organic coffee beans, which are carefully selected from some of the world’s most exotic countries. When ordering guests can also see a comparative chart that describes the levels of aroma, flavor, body and acidity in each coffee.

Very nice alternative to Starbucks. Good coffee and good WiFi. Good selection of sweet eatibles and reasonable prices. Small but pleasant outdoor seating area.

95/100: Excellent! Short version: We visited in family to have a coffee and they have decaf and non-dairy options which I believe makes it great. Long version: Beside the different options, they also carry muffins, pastries, sandwiches and salads. Great for a quick pick or a nice conversation with friends or family. You might probably find a line but because of the whole process of prepare a good coffee. Excluded: the restroom, I never used it.

CORAL GABLES, FL. – Conveniently and strategically located in the heart of The Gables, Pasion del Cielo seems to keep up its momentum since it open its doors and it’s a better alternative than the beaten path of Starbucks and Einstein Bros. Bagels on Miracle Mile.<br/ <br/ At brunch time I noticed that there are no formalities here. Flip-flops, t-shirts and double-breasted suits all waited in line to get their java fix.<br/ <br/ As a coffee connoisseur, I didn’t notice a huge taste difference among all of their high-altitude coffee beans. Their Brazilian blend which they rate as a “low acidity” didn’t have a distinctive taste and it was medium in acidity. And if you take your coffee with cream or milk it probably won’t taste any differently than Starbucks’ roasted brand.<br/ <br/ But aside from their coffee taste, Pasion del Cielo does have a very cool décor, especially at night. Comfortable couches with cushions and leather sofa seats are a clear indication that they want you to sit, enjoy your coffee and stay long after you finish.<br/ <br/ However, the most comfortable seats are always taken by students with laptops or people that come over to work out of the café. The shop has lots of plugs to connect devices and the WiFi is pretty fast here.<br/ <br/ Thunder struck in the sky as I took my last drink, and the dark clouds were fast approaching. It was a sign to move on. Keep moving and don’t look back.
