Okinawa Sushi Express - Miami

I regret dining here. I should have walked away; the place feels dirty. Having spent three months in Japan, I know my sushi. While I didn't expect five-star quality, I certainly didn't anticipate sushi that was comparable to pre-packaged sushi from Walmart. In fact, the sushi from Publix is far superior to what I had here. The shrimp tempura tasted like it was straight from Costco! To make matters worse, the prices were way too high for the quality offered. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

Wow, is this an underrated gem for sushi?! The sashimi here is incredibly high quality and absolutely delicious!

I found a bug in the rice. Please ensure better hygiene in the future, as this shouldn't happen.

Sushi with a Brazilian flare! That is what this restaurant offers. Mixing tropical ingredients with the traditional Japanese recipes adds to the flavors and textures of the sushi. The menu is quite diverse. The staff was very welcoming and the restaurant was very clean. With only inside seating available. Give this place a try and enjoy the experience. Buon Appetito!

Staff is eating the food while working in plain view. Rice taste cheap tuna was over cooked cream cheese was very warm. Total waste of time and money. They are heating food up in a microwave. On top of all that it’s not even operated by Asians nor did I see an Asian chef. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!
