Vecchio Forno Pizzeria - Metuchen

I’m from the Yakama Nation Reservation in Washington State and recently visited the East Coast to try some New York-style pizza. I found exactly what I was looking for! The pizza was delicious, from the flavors to the crust. The highlight of my visit was the owner, Lenny, who was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely return to see Lenny again for another great pizza when I'm back in the area!

We stopped trying this place tonight. The staff was very friendly and we have discs to go. When we came home, we noticed we were missing a disc and I called the shop. Without asking the person I spoke with (which I think can be the owner? offered to run the missing disk at home! I was so grateful that he was at our door in less than 10 minutes with a warm piece. Now this is the customer service!!! We will definitely be back, the pizza was delicious, the menu looks great and you cannot beat this service!!

This restaurant is fantastic! It's conveniently located just around the corner from our home, and we often go there with my kids or order quick delivery. They serve the best pizza I've ever had, and their sandwiches and dinner options are excellent as well. I would highly recommend it!

Best GRANDMA PIZZA I had in New Jersey. Lenny and his staff are always super friendly and customize your pizza exactly as you want. I would recommend L L L for pizza to everyone. 5 stars everywhere!! Special scream for Lenny! Service and timing are impeccable with him and his staff.

My husband and I decided to have a little pizza date today, and I was really excited to try a new place! We each ordered a slice and shared a chicken roll. The food was absolutely delicious, and we were laughing so much that we finished it all before we even had a chance to take a picture! We love exploring new restaurants, and I'm thrilled to say we'll definitely be returning here again! The sauce on the penne vodka pizza was my favorite—truly the best I've ever had. Additionally, I was glad we could sit outside and enjoy our meal. The location is lovely, parking is super convenient, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Thank you, everyone!
