Civile Cucina Italiana hosted a group of 40 of us on a youth football trip to the Essen area, and the experience was delightful. The food was absolutely delicious, and everyone received their fair share. The meatballs and penne vodka were outstanding. The service was excellent, with prompt delivery. Overall, a fantastic job!

This is the best Italian food I've ever had! You have to try the Sicilian meatballs and the "bastards"—they're so generous in size that you probably won't be able to finish them. Calling it delicious doesn't even do it justice. I’m definitely coming back and highly recommend making the trip!

Small place, with an atmosphere of real Italy. The food was delicious and it exceeded the expectations of a small place. For your information, you need to bring your own alcohol. Very recommended.
