Already fed several times here and everyone visiting is a joy. her menu offers a large selection of Sichuan dishes, but they can decide to eat from their modern China menu if they do not eat in spicy. price point is not that cheap, but portion size is great.
Sichuan is one of the spicy Chinese places in the area. I thought it would not match the Indianized Chinese palate that i have, but its a great place. Probably one of the few I will go back to because I liked it and not for sake of exploration. I ordered only vegetarian as I was with an office colleague who doesn't eat meat. But the sauce tells me that the chicken version of the same dishes would be great too. I would be going back for the same soon. So here is what i ordered - 1. Veg fried rice - very similar 90% to the one we have in India. Non sticky rice with little sauce 2. Hot fried potato - so they have a chicken version of the dish which I am going to try. It has fried potato pieces tossed in seasoning and fried red chillies. It was really tasty! 3. An eggplant in sauce dish - I dont know what its called but it had eggplant (brinjal) and mushrooms in a mixture of sauces - soy sauce and vinegar. It was the right kind of spicy we Indians like 4. Chinese tea - the green tea with leaves instead of Tea bags They welcome you with caramelised peanuts. The service and food was great Ambience - 9/10 Value for money - 8/10 (a little expensive) Service - 9.5/10 Food quality- 9.5/10 Definitely going back for the chicken!

Modern Sichuan was a restaurant hidden in one of the buildings in The Fort Strip and I'm glad my family and I found it. The moment we went in, I could smell the food and I could predict that the food would be good here. The ambiance of the whole place was very nice and elegant. The red colored interiors really gave a nice modern Chinese look. There were a lot of people when we dined here, especially Chinese people. This restaurant, Modern Sichuan, focuses on Chinese cuisine. They have a big menu of different Chinese dishes to choose from. The price of their dishes were a bit pricey so my family decided to order several dishes for us to share. I didn't really get to take a lot of pictures since we were too excited to eat already haha. So we had a few dishes. We ordered chicken, pork, and fish dishes and we also ordered vegetable dishes to balance things out. When dining here, I would recommend trying their steamed chicken. The chicken was very moist and it had great flavor. I also would recommend trying their Minced meat tofu. There wasn't much meat but the tofu itself was very good. It was silky smooth and soft. The broth where the tofu was sitting was very flavorful. I could taste the different spices going on. I was very satisfied dining here and I can't wait to recommend this restaurant to my friends. Of course I couldn't leave this place without dessert so I ordered their fried sweet potato with cheese. 150 php for 2 whole sweet potatoes. It may sound simple but this was one of the greatest things I've ever tasted. The sweet potato was very sweet and creamy and really complimented the salty cheese. It was served warm which made it a hundred times better. Hope to come back soon to order this again ????
