What Dessert? - Methil

I visited this restaurant today at 4 PM, eagerly anticipating some dessert. Unfortunately, it was closed with no sign of activity, and I couldn't reach anyone by phone. I ended up going to Perfect Scoop in East Wemyss for some delicious sundaes instead. I think I'll just stick with that place in the future.

I recently relocated to Edinburgh from Glenrothes and decided to drive over on Saturday night, only to find the shop closed with the shutters down when I arrived at 10 PM. According to Google, the closing time is 10:30 PM, while Facebook states it’s 11 PM. I had been a fan of their sweet treats for several years when I lived nearby, which is why I made the trip. This experience was incredibly disappointing, and I won’t be returning or recommending this place to anyone.

I ordered a mix of ice cream and doughnuts, which used to come in separate tubs, but this time everything was thrown into one container. If I could upload a picture, I would show you how it looked. I called to address the issue, but the staff's attitude was appalling, and they refused to offer a refund for the ice cream. The doughnuts arrived frozen as well. Overall, it was a waste of money. Next time, I'll go elsewhere.

Only place they have accurate opening hours is on the whatfork website. Pretty frustrating walking all the way here with the phone line saying they’re waiting to connect you. I thought they were maybe just busy.

Apparently closes at 11, got there at 10:05 and it's shut.
