Thai Ocha - Metairie

This is a small neighborhood gem with delicious Thai food. My only complaint is that their yelp page isn't updated with their recent menu, so placing to-go orders was slightly difficult.

Amazing food and incredible staff--highly recommend!! We especially like the roti peanut sauce.

Those noodles were good y 'all. I must admit...I was misled by the Yelp reviews because I thought I 'd have some sushi along with my food but was advised they stopped serving sushi a few years ago. We (me, sis, little bougie baby, and his friend) got there at about 8 and they close at 9 but they were still nice. We could tell they were like hurry up so we can close but still accommodating. We tried the gyoza and spring rolls for appetizers. Both were hot and fresh. I was torn between curry and noodles so I let the babies and my sister order drunken noodles and another kind that I can 't remember the name while I got the green curry. The curry for me was a bit different it was good and hot but the taste was kinda of minty and sweet ...not sure how else to describe it. I don 't think I 'll get it again, it wasn 't really my speed. Good though. I was wishing I 'd gotten noodles after eating from my sister and bougie baby 's plate. The babies kept saying more every time the plate was empty because they enjoyed it so much. Lol they are 3 years old by the way. Lol The Thai tea was refreshing...I order a second one to go. Oh, as for parking...we had to make some parking spaces. The inside was really small and cute. The bathrooms were clean and nice. I 'd come back here but I know I 'd just get noodles next time. It 's worth a try.

Place is small, comfy and very clean. Service is excellent. The food is very good. The crab ragoons are a must if available.

Yelp did me right on this one. My first time to this restaurant. This place had fantastic pad Thai. Great service. It's a small restaurant. I got there early and was the first one that night. As the customers came in, they all seem to be regulars, cheerfully greeting the waitress/hostess. If I lived near this restaurant I be eating at once a week forever. Note, it's sort of located on the side street, not at the front of the strip mall.
