Denny's - Metairie

I have to say, this Denny's is a hidden gem! I was truly amazed at the quality of the food I was served. I've always enjoyed Denny's, but I typically expect just above-average diner food akin to fast food. However, this location seems to have employees who are either aspiring chefs, culinary students, or simply talented home cooks who use delicious homemade recipes. The pot roast was exceptional and is my top recommendation. It was presented beautifully, as if I were dining at an upscale restaurant, and the vegetables looked freshly cut rather than frozen. On one visit, they even topped the pot roast with a homemade gravy instead of the usual cheap mix. The food quality at this specific Denny's is noticeably better than that of most locations and has a refreshing, non-corporate taste. I just hope that the management, who never seem to be around and prefer to micromanage from afar, don’t interfere with the hardworking staff who know how to create a great dining experience.

Everybody and every thing was on point, I'd love to have dennys everyday of they built any down where i live

I used to live near this location and visited quite often. However, I moved six years ago and started dining at Waffle House since it was new to the area and closer to my home. One day, I was in the mood for something affordable but not fast food, so I decided to try Denny's, which had recently been remodeled. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I can't believe I went six years without this place! Aside from Chick-fil-A and Cane's, Denny's has now made my list for having the most courteous employees. Thank you to the managers and staff for creating such a calm and pleasant atmosphere to enjoy a meal!

We visited this location several months ago after I kept seeing commercials for all their eggs Benedict options. The server was friendly and helpful. Their menu selections were great. So hard to choose! All of our food was excellent. There were four of us and we were all pleased. We even ordered some food to go. We will definitely visit again.
