My husband should have checked before he left that it was the right number, but why are yougiving us 16 when we paid for 18? Also, we ordered 3 different flavors of wings. They only gave us firecracker habanero
I'm really disappointed. I ordered 12 wings for $18, and half of them were inedible—too dry and overcooked with hardly any sauce. I used to love this place and I hope they improve. Although the slow service was usually acceptable because the food was great, this is now the third consecutive time I've been let down by the quality compared to the price.
First time going, so this is a first impression: My wife ordered The Frisco Kid (burger w/swiss on sourdough) and I ordered The Dub C (philly). Entrees come with sides. With sodas, tax, tip, we spent in the mid $40s range. The food was excellent. My Phillywas the best I've had in Arizona (not joking). The server came around to asked about drinks about 3x during our meal and askedus if we wanted to top off our drinks when we left. My only complaint is the lack of indoor dining, so I'm taking my order to gowhen it's 120 degrees out here.
My daughter ordered a quesadilla that appeared slightly burnt, and unfortunately, a lot of the cheese inside wasn't melted at all. I opted for the "Stay at Home Dad" brisket grilled cheese sandwich, and right off the bat, I noticed it was surprisingly small—much smaller than my husband’s Reuben sandwich. While it looked toasted, the brisket was ice cold and the cheese was entirely unmelted. After taking a few bites, I began to wonder if I had mistakenly ordered a cold sandwich instead of the warm, melty grilled cheese I was expecting. I eventually asked a server whether it was intended to be served cold, and she confirmed that it should have been warm. She speculated that it might have sat in a window too long before being brought to our table, but I really don’t think that was the case since my meat was freezing and the cheese was never melted. It felt more like cold ingredients placed on toast. The server apologized and mentioned she would credit some amount back to my card for the inconvenience, but that never happened. Overall, I’m left disappointed after my first visit. I might consider giving this place another shot in the future, but I’ll definitely lower my expectations.
Our experience had the potential to be amazing, but it fell short due to several issues. One of the burgers we ordered arrived cold, and the other was only lukewarm. We also had to wait 50 minutes while seeing other customers who arrived after us get their meals before us. It seemed like our burgers had just been sitting there, forgotten. When we raised our concerns, the staff offered to remake our meals, which was a nice gesture, but we didn't want to wait another 50 minutes for that. I can't even remember the last time I felt compelled to complain at a restaurant. Looking back, the warning signs should have been there when we ordered the burgers and they didn't ask how we wanted them cooked, or when I ordered a salad and they didn't inquire about my choice of dressing.
