Spotless, welcoming, and delicious! The quality of both the service and the food is unmatched at a fantastic price, making it the best place in the city.

This place is a hidden gem just beyond the intersection of Pratt and Center in Meriden. While it's primarily a bakery, it serves one of the best Cuban sandwiches I've had in the Northeast. The pork was flavorful without being overpowering, the toppings were fresh, and the bread—baked on-site—is the closest I've come to authentic Cuban bread outside of Florida. The service was friendly and quick, and the price is reasonable for a solidly hearty sandwich.

The sandwiches are delicious, and the staff is extremely polite and friendly.
