Sad local, nice and kind staff but, alas, the meat was bad, a taste of unconsumed grill, felt the taste of coal, I will never return even xke' after two days I still have stomachache and nausea; there are definitely better places even with more moderate prices;
I think he can't have a Michelin star in a restaurant like that. Top quality raw materials, prepared with delicacy and mix of flavors difficult to find. Unique appetizers, first space dishes, tender meat and cooked with care. Piatto strong Neapolitan ragù introvabile. Paradisiac culinary experience. Congratulations
It was a long time since I wanted to try this braceria intrigued by the presentation of the dishes. So a cold Wednesday of January we decide to dine there. Local well maintained and intimate atmosphere. I enjoyed the meats and the wine cellar in beautiful view as well as the mirror cold room where the meat dwelt. The only piece of furniture is the television that projected a crackling fire. I don't love this kind of fake atmosphere I really prefer a fireplace with a nice heated fire than a television. When you can't better avoid and maybe spread some jazz music. But we come to the dishes. I'm suggesting I was on a diet so I didn't have the maximum freedom to choose. The menu included a tasting course at 50 euros where there was no particular meat cut to be considered out of the menu. Interesting proposals for appetizers and hamware even if a 25 euro pony at act maybe is really exaggerated. Classic the first. Special seconds: there was only one choice for pork and beef while 2 lamb proposals. But we come to what should be the strength of a meat shop or the choice of the type of meat to be cooked on the grill. We were offered 5 types of high prices. We talk about 90/100 € per kg where the minimum cut is at least 1.2 kg. We do not question the quality of the meat offered but being us in 2 we did not feel to spend 120 euros only of meat for which we decided to choose from the proposals of the menu. I took the sock and my boyfriend the burrata with truffles and mushrooms. Good the culatello and very appreciated the burrata with the truffle cut in lamelle, the split porcini and a sauce with basil with a very intense green. The color looked like the mint syrup. We continue our dinner by taking a first, fusilloni with porcini, narrow beef and pecorino tufts and a second: a fillet of beef cooked in a pan. Not loving vegetables with fruit were very kind to replace the contour matched with mixed salad I had requested. The cooking of fusilloni was perfect and the taste also. Only flaw in my opinion is the type of pasta, I would have preferred a spaghetti or fettuccine but still appreciated as a dish. But the dish that definitely deserves a plause to the chef is the fillet of beef, tender, juicy, tasty (my fiancé has so far made the shoe in the sauce) and also abundant having put in the dish two pieces at the price of 18 euros included of contour. Adding covered and water our account is on 60 euros. We had it in advance so he didn't upset us. To forget we were greeted with a welcome dish: polenta with crunchy pork belly dadolat. A chicca definitely appreciated. The experience has been satisfying that a cut of meat from the price is not proposed a bit more affordable or however the possibility to choose more types. The judgment is still positive.
Often at restaurant what is missing is the availability to listen to customer requests, you go from the useless fake lighter to total menefreghismo. 49 Carneria Campana is a pleasant exception. The story is simple: I go with my partner a few Sundays ago for the first time and we try the 50 euro tasting menu that includes two appetizers, two first, one second and the dessert. Already the two appetizers the tartare of Fassona and the egg were sublime, among the best things ever eaten and the lunch continues on the same high level among the courtesy of the waiters, despite the local was full. I'm paying thanks and I'm leaving. Since I was discussing nicely with the gentleman at the cashier I only notice in the car that I spent well over 100 euros and something I expected. Control and the single glass of wine was at 18 euros! I had taken an aglianico del Vulture that therefore should have cost to bottle between 80 and 100 euros! I went back to lunch yesterday and I gave the kind waiter the cost of wine of the previous week. Without daring on my word (it was possible to be a liar) the waiter failed in an apology for this error of joke. We ate very well also yesterday, exceptional deer tartare and watercolor rice, the redness of my partner was great, slight sin not having served on stone so in the end it had slightly cooled. When finished the meal ended with their tiramisu, the baba and the nocino de I Curti went to pay, Mr. Antonio had already been deducted from the waiter on the wine of the previous time so in addition to offering us coffee and not to make me pay the glass of Campi Taurasini drank, he also made me a very discount on the amount of the account apologising again for the happened and not even for excess of lordships.
