Baskin-robbins - Mercer Island

The food is still delicious but unfortunately, it is no longer a Baskin Robbins.

I visited the restaurant to try their ice cream with a promotion from T-Mobile Tuesday. I chose my ice cream, but was informed that I couldn't use the $5 promo gift card because the manager didn't accept it. This promotion is supposed to be between T-Mobile and Baskin-Robbins headquarters, but the store is refusing to honor it. I felt like my time and money were wasted, and I wouldn't recommend shopping there. If they are cutting corners by not honoring a $5 advertising promo, they might be compromising on food quality as well. It's unfortunate that this store likely won't last long with such poor management.

Like others have said, the owner is the worst. Go on the weekends or nights when he isn’t there. Family bought an ice cream cake for us and told him we would pick it up AFTER noon. I arrived at 5 and he said he canceled the order because I didn’t pick it up AT noon. I didn’t know ice cream cakes required a doctor’s office-precise appointment. Anyway they still had it in the freezer since no one else bought it first. But it was still very overpriced. The owner always has a bad attitude and you can scroll through the other comments for more evidence of that. I get that times are tough but maybe try spreading some joy through your ice cream and not being stingy and acting like you hate life? I hope this guy finds some happiness.

After nearly a year of not visiting B R (due to Covid issues), we finally returned tonight and were delighted to be back. The ice cream was delicious, but what truly impressed us were the two young men working behind the counter. The restaurant was bustling on this Friday night, with beautiful weather attracting three families and a group of teenagers. The parking lot was full, indicating even more customers inside. Despite the busy atmosphere, Mason, the young man who served us, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He and his coworker were clearly excellent additions to the staff. We look forward to returning again soon.

You feel like you have stepped back in time. Made to order ice cream cakes are ready when ordered. A bit more expensive than I was expecting.
