Deekers Sidetracks - Mentor

This is a really impressive renovated Pennsy station that has been transformed into a party venue with volleyball, a bar, and more. It offers great views for train watching, along with a sloped area perfect for enjoying a drink. There are also some lovely spots nearby where dogs are welcome. I particularly admire the old lamp post outside; it seems like an original railroad piece.

The atmosphere is fantastic, and the drinks are affordable. The only downside is that it can be a bit difficult to locate.

I attended a high school class reunion at this restaurant. Although it’s an older establishment, the waitstaff was very friendly and the drink prices were quite reasonable.
