Maciel's Tortas Tacos (midtown)

Delicious food and very reasonably priced. Visiting from Southern California and Dallas, Texas we are use to great Mexican food. This rivals any we've had. Will definitely go back. Quick and very good service. Sorry about the photos taken after the first couple of bites. Couldn't wait to taste the TACOS!!! Addenda to review...went back two months later and just as impressed

The food was good. It was missing seasonings. The chicken on the taco had no seasonings on it. The rice was just ok. The chorizo queso dip was good.

It’s was GREAT! My Daughter took me there Saturday. I’d never visited before. The Food tasted oh so good. Service, and Atmosphere were both adequate and well. Thanks Maciel’s. I’ll be back!

I ordered some tacos , asada, birria and carnitas . The asada was basically boiled meat . Not even a mark of the grill . Birria was very disappointing flavorless. And the tortillas were as robbery and some of the worst tortillas I’ve ever in counter. However the service was awesome. Nice and friendly also very clean .

I try a new taqueria every week and this is by far the worst tacos I’ve ever had. The driest al pastor I have ever had and I’m not even sure what those awful tortillas are made of. $7 for two tacos is outrageous. I’m sorry to the college kids who think this is quality Latin American food.
