I've spent years living and traveling in Greece, and I can confidently say that the food at Nisí is among the best Greek cuisine I've encountered anywhere in the world. They offer traditional Greek dishes with some delightful inventive twists, like their cheese saganaki accompanied by onion slices and capers. The Grilled Octopus served over fava was particularly exceptional; the fava had a subtle hint of mustard, which enhanced the flavor beautifully. Our fantastic server Athiná warmly welcomed us and even helped us practice our Greek, while the entire staff was friendly and professional. The decor and ambiance are stunning; Nisí means "island," and the sea-themed design, combined with the dance-pop music typical of Greek restaurants and bars, creates a wonderful atmosphere. Overall, it was a superb fine dining experience.
**Meal Type:** Dinner **Price per Person:** $50–100 **Food:** 2/5 **Service:** 2/5 **Atmosphere:** 3/5 I recently dined at this restaurant and had mixed feelings about my experience. The food didn’t quite meet my expectations; it was served at a level that felt below par considering the price range. I would rate it a 2 out of 5. The service was also lacking, with staff seeming overwhelmed and not very attentive, which was disappointing. They also receive a 2 out of 5 for service. On a more positive note, the atmosphere was decent, offering a comfortable setting that earned it a 3 out of 5. Overall, while the ambiance was inviting, the quality of the food and service left much to be desired.
We were initially unaware that the restaurant was located inside a hotel, but the ambiance exceeded our expectations. The service was excellent. We started with the Nisi Chips, which were light and flavorful. The saganaki was enjoyable, but it was served without pita bread—just a heavier type of bread was provided at first. The short rib dish was outstanding. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant!
The Branzino had a nice flavor, though it wasn't remarkable; it was fine. However, there were a few bones, but I can't really hold that against the restaurant, as it’s common with Branzino. Overall, both the food and service fell short of expectations. To make matters worse, I ended up feeling extremely ill later that evening and had to take medication. I won't be returning to this restaurant in the future.
