William's Bar & Cafe - Melbourne

We enjoyed a lovely meal in this restaurant. The prices were reasonable and the staff (especially) Maia were very attentive.

I've visited this cafe several times in the last few months, just for a mid morning coffee usually as I've been walking by. This time I stopped early morning for a takeaway large flat white and a serve of raisin toast - only to be charged an eye watering, wallet lightening $10.30 ! Outrageous and ridiculous.The toast consisted of two small slices, about the size of your hand. This was not one of those heavy, fruit laden slices, just white bread with some raisins. Less than 400 metres away in any direction you will find cafes offering bigger and better coffees/toast for $7. I can only assume that with the proliferation of law practices, chambers and courts in the immediate vicinity they think that these prices will be paid by those with more money than sense. Service was distinctly average and typical of the new breed of owners that seem to be moving into the cafe business.There are many, many better cafes around here so I won't be returning. My Bank Manager will be delighted.

Situated on the corner of William and Flinders Street, Williams Bar and Cafe is a great after drinks venue and great addition for guests of the Clarion Suites accommodation.They have drink and happy hour specials most days and the few times I have been there have always had a great time.

Never over busy when we've been here so able to sit and chat whilst enjoying a drink. Large TV for singles to enjoy and comfy seating adds to the overall experience.

Had an amazingly delicious eye fillet steak for dinner. Cooked to perfection with a side of duck fat cooked potatoes, roasted peppers in red wine jus. Oh my just perfect. Husbands steak was just as good too. Well worth the dining experience.
