I love visiting Dainty Sichuan! Even though there are a few branches spread across Melbourne, South Yarra branch produces the most delicious dishes. Perfect for winter or in a big group when all of you crave for some spice.

They have been around for ages and have been a favourite for amazing chinese szechuan dishes. <br/ <br/ Absolutely love it here and one of my favourite dishes is the szechuan noodles, its so good and the flavours are on point<br/ <br/ Its perfect for a big group where you get to order dishes to share and try a variety of different options. Highly recommend if youre after some amazing szechuan dishes

Take away for birthday lunch. Very authentic! I'll definitely order more often.

By far one of the best Sichuan restaurants in Melbourne. Me and a few friends ordered the scampi as well as the pork rib barbecue. My favourite was the barbecue as there was an array of different vegetables and also rice cakes in the dish which made it not one dimensional. The scampi were fresh and cooked beautifully. The meat was succulent sweet and tender which paired perfectly with the signature mala flavour of Sichuan.

Dainty Sichuan is one of our favourite Chinese restaurants in Melbourne. We’ve been a few times and it never disappoints! The service is fantastic, and the venue is big too. Our must order dishes are always the Boiling Fish in Chilli Oil and Sichuan Pepper, Dry Stir Fried Beans, and the Fish Flavoured Eggplant. The eggplant is my absolute favourite and I can never get enough of it!
