Sand on the Beach Restaurant

I've been going for years and the grilled mahi is still good.

Nice venue, fiendly service, but the food for the price was less than acceptable. Seared tuna had a funky after taste, and what the chef put out as Civeche was sad. As far as I could tell, it was steamed shrimp cut in half with some squid in oil covered with minced garlic over two lraves of Romane Lettuce. The dish demonstrated no use of citrus and was basically uneatable, given the garlic ratio. We will try again as the bar was able to prepare cocktails that met expectations, and being on the beach makes my Wife happy.
