Jake’s Crab Shack - Melbourne Beach

Tried this place through Groupon, and was PLEASANTLY surprised! Had the STUFFED mushrooms with CRAB meat stuffing, and we're VERY well done; ONLY NEGATIVE was that there were only 4 of them. I also had the special (on Saturday, it's Prime Rib shrimp). I had the shrimp blackened, and also was SURPRISED at how well they were; HOWEVER, again, ONLY 4 of them. The prime rib was good, and had 2 potatoes, and a piece of corn on cob (small). OTHER than being SMALL portions, the meal was VERY GOOD; that's why ONLY 4 stars; otherwise it would've been 5. GREAT little place in easily located venue.

I came from New York and was so happy to find this place! Friendly staff, great prices, great food and they had live entertainment on Friday which was fantastic. I met a great gentleman named Rich and he was a great host of local information. I’m relocating to the area from NY and I’ll be back for sure! Good vibe!

The beer on tap is excellent, and the crab nachos are delicious. The wings and crab legs are also quite tasty. The place has all the games playing and offers plenty of space to enjoy.

My wife and I adore Jake's and typically visit twice a week!

Great food and a lively local bar atmosphere. I went for karaoke and had the chance to chat with some really friendly locals. I spent $40 on three strong cocktails and a grilled shrimp special, which I thought was a fantastic deal!
