Bj's Bakery - Melbourne

We ordered a few desserts to take home, and they were nearly inedible. They were burnt and unappealing in appearance. It's absolutely ridiculous. I've had better quality from Domino's.

I typically order steak or ribs, but I noticed a new pan pizza on the menu for $30 that reminded me of the good pizzas from my childhood at Pizza Hut, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the pizza was a disappointment! There was hardly any sauce, cheese, or toppings; it was basically just a lot of bread. When I spoke to Ken, the manager, he seemed more interested in boasting about opening nine restaurants than addressing my concerns. He dismissed my feedback, blaming the chef instead. I've had $12 pizzas that were far better. I definitely won't be ordering this again, and after my experience with Ken, I doubt I'll be returning at all.

The restaurant's interior is adorned with tiles and numerous TVs, contributing to a vibrant atmosphere filled with customers. The overall vibe is reminiscent of an Applebee's, and despite starting as a pizzeria in 1978, the menu has evolved to include a wide range of options, from pizza to classic bar fare, pastas, salads, burgers, chicken, steaks, and sides. There seems to be something for everyone, including vegetarian options like Avocado Egg Rolls. Our waiter, Jeffrey, provided average service—nothing extraordinary, but certainly not bad. If you were to gauge his performance against the average standards of restaurant service, he would fall right in the middle. He’s unlikely to make the list of top servers in Brevard, but he also won’t be remembered as the worst. I’d give him a B- for his efforts. While looks can be deceiving, even the food photos didn't make the dishes at BJ's particularly appetizing to me. However, at least I wasn't overpromised and under-delivered. I ordered the BJ's Classic Rib-Eye, a so-called fan favorite, served with roasted asparagus and loaded mashed potatoes. While the steak was cooked to the proper temperature and the mash was acceptable, the overall flavor was lacking. Nothing about this meal inspired me to become a fan, but it didn’t turn me against the restaurant either. Next, I tried the Bacon Cheeseburger, which features a grilled beef patty, applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, dill pickles, and BJ's signature burger sauce on a Premium Parker House roll. This burger was the highlight of the meal. Unlike many places that overcook burgers into tasteless patties, BJ's serves a substantial 3/4-pound burger that is juicy and enjoyable. Once again, though, the flavors were a bit muted, and the fries that accompanied it were also lackluster. But at this level of dining, average food appears to be what average customers desire, and BJ's caters to this market well. At least they provide salt and pepper shakers at every table. If you’re looking for a casual spot to grab a beer, enjoy a meal with the family, or indulge in a decent burger while watching the game on multiple TVs, then BJ's is the right place for you. However, if you are a food enthusiast seeking exceptional quality and unique culinary experiences, you might want to dine elsewhere. In summary, for average food, average service, and average prices, BJ's Restaurant Brewhouse fits the bill.

Karen was a pleasure. She was attentive, friendly and accommodating. My wife had the turkeyburger with Fritten and I had the Cheeseburger with Fritten. both were good. We look forward to more menu items.

I'm NOT very happy with my last take out order, 10/9/2022 19:58pm Server Alyssa S #227) 1760 W New Haven Ave West Melbourne, FL 32904 I ordered from the Gluten Free Menu 1 GLUTEN SENSITIVE SPINACH AND ARTICHOKE DIP 1 GLUTEN FREE BJ'S CLASSIC COMBO and for my hubby 1 BREWHOUSE PHILLY* This order was a mess, my spinach artichoke dip DID NOT have my carrots and celery instead they gave me burnt nacho chips UN EDIBLE!!! the Brewhouse Philly had NO CHEESE on it and the fries were just like my nacho chips BURNT UN EDIBLE!!!! when we got home and saw what they gave us I called back to speak to a manger but was never connected after several minutes...they hung up on us...I tried again just to have the same thing happen.... This is NOT the first time that this location has screwed up and served un edible food....As we have eaten in with problems also.... I know this location is going down hill, but do they have to treat customers with such disrespect? I would like some kind of retribution, as its only right for this meal was NOT WORTH $50.99.... Not to mention all our missing points for April, May, June, July and now October 2022.
