La Bodeguita Havanera - Medellín

I've never tried Cuban food. It is not very different from typical Colombian foods in terms of ingredients; but the recipes and the combination of aromas are very attractive. The sizes of dishes match any demanding appetite. The surroundings are very beautiful as their decoration imitates the one from a traditional Cuban place (restaurant). You can also enjoy Cuban music.

Excellent food and atmosphere, great service and mojitos. Worth visiting. Prices are also acceptable.

Six of us from the USA visited this Cuban restaurant on Friday, 29 January 2016. You have Cuban live music (although too loud to speak) on Friday nights. Our server – Caterina was very nice.

I did not eat here. I stopped in looked at the menu, I could not believe it. I live in Miami, Florida I KNOW Cuban Food and where the famous VERSAILLE Cuban Restaurant is located. Majority of the population in Miami is of Cuban decent where the Best Cuban Food in the World is found (people here mostly are not Fidel Castro 's children). When looking at the menu I , only saw one item which was considered Cuban Food Tostones (Fried green plantains called patacones by Colombians). Everything else was some made up garbage that did not look like any Cuban Food or menu I have ever seen ever ! Forget this joke. They have a sister restaurant which I did not look at (Son Havana) but I imagine it is the same garbage.

Nice Cuban style bar. Stopped by for a beer in the afternoon. Has a lot of character, and plays authentic Cuban music. Will revisit one evening to enjoy a live band
