フィードバックを提供するI have attended events at this restaurant before the pandemic and gave it 4 stars. However, my experience at the Mother's Day brunch was disappointing. The quality of food and level of service were not up to par. The $35 price tag did not match the subpar experience. The wait for food was too long, and when it arrived, it was often cold and overcooked. Some dishes seemed like leftovers from a previous event. The only saving grace was the desserts, which were made by a different vendor and were quite good. Due to these issues and the impact of Covid-19, I can only give this restaurant 2 stars, but it really deserves half a star. I understand the challenges of operating during a pandemic, but the experience was so bad that we will not be returning. It is a shame because the location is great and we wanted to enjoy our time there.
The course at The Curs is in excellent condition and the maintainers do a great job. I have played there many times. However, the employees do not know how to treat their customers, so I will not be giving them my money again. They treated me poorly, messed up my tee time, and then threw me out of the clubhouse as if I had done something wrong. I left because I had a towel around my face instead of a mask. I do not need that kind of treatment and there are plenty of other nicer golf courses in the area, such as my home course Frear Park. Josh at Frear Park is friendly and welcoming, and they won't kick you out for not having a proper mask. The course at The Curs is in good shape, but Frear Park is cheaper and just as nice. I will continue to recommend Frear Park over The Curs. It seems like I am not the only one who has had a bad experience based on the reviews I have seen.
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant on September 1st, 2019. We enjoyed everything about the venue, the planning process, and the services provided on the day of the event. Susan was amazing to work with in planning our event. The price was very reasonable compared to other venues, and all of our guests raved about the delicious food and how much fun they had. The attached brewery is also fantastic and definitely worth a visit!
No bad curs. very challenging. the regular ones that play there are quite rude, also very slow. 18 holes should not take 6 hours. I had a gift card for 18 holes w/ a basket. not a big thing, but I was told I owe $2. Maybe they should just sell the gift cards for money. not write 18 w/a basket on them.
My neighborhood favorite never disappoints but tonight's veal chop was just tremendous. I was pretty surprised to say the least...it was a second to one I had in Florence, Italy. Great sauce too!
