フィードバックを提供するMy wife and I were hanging out Sunday afternoon and talking about dinner possibilities...mentioned that I was thinking about making fish and chips with cole slaw...her advise was let's go to Long John Silvers...I guess it's one of her childhood favorites...we don't eat fast food much, so I thought let's give it a try...went through the drive thru(great friendly service) and ordered the family pack...4 pcs. nice crispy fish and 4 pics. crispy chicken tenders(they threw inan extra chicken tender)...fries...hush puppies...slaw...took it home and crisped up the fries in the air fryer...pretty awesome dinner for $25.00
Both doors were locked at 5:45pm on a Tuesday (not holiday) The dining area was lit up and there were no signs saying that they were closed. Cars were in the drive thru and I could see workers inside. I knocked on the door and a worker shrugged his shoulders. I walked there and didn't have a car to go through the drive thru. Other people were trying to get inside also. If they are going to close the dining area, they should put signs on the outside.
The woman who served us was incredibly kind and patient, even after I changed my order twice. I don’t think many people realize how overworked and underpaid these employees are, yet they continue to show up to provide us with convenience. I wish I knew her name because she was truly delightful! I really appreciate her kindness—after a mentally tough day, it was so refreshing to have someone who understood my scattered thoughts. Thank you for that!
Pepsi really needs to do something about this awful KFC location—maybe close it down entirely for everyone's sake. Or perhaps they should just exit the restaurant business altogether, as they seem to ruin iconic eateries like Long John Silver, A&W, Kentucky Fried Chicken (not KFC!), Pizza Hut, and even Taco Bell. This place has the worst service I’ve ever experienced in any restaurant, which is quite a statement these days. They’ve made some superficial updates and added new decor, but just take a look at the parking lot! The negative reviews here barely scratch the surface. Avoid this place unless you’re prepared for a disappointing experience in search of greasy fried chicken that's nothing like the original Kentucky Fried Chicken.
The fries here are rarely served hot, crispy, or seasoned with the right herbs and spices. I've visited at various times throughout the day, and while I did have an excellent batch right when they opened once, that's not been the case consistently. However, the staff are always very friendly. Despite the inconsistency with the fries, I would still recommend this place.
