Mario's Pizza - Mebane

I have eaten at a lot of pizza places, and this is some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten! My wife and I just bought a house in Mebane, and we tried a couple other pizza places downtown first both were disappointing. Then we found Mario’s Pizza in an outlet mall of all places. It is by far the best pizza in Mebane, and if you live in or near Mebane, this is the place you should go for pizza. Bear in mind that they get busy sometimes and can have 30 60 minute wait times at peak hours, so plan ahead. If you’re still with me, let me describe to you why their pizza is top notch. The dough is relatively thin, but not brittle. It’s soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The outer crust is smaller than a lot of pizzas (maybe 1/2 3/4” , meaning you get more sauce and cheese per slice than you might elsewhere. The pizza is not overly saucy, but the sauce integrates well with the cheese and dough, delivering a wonderful medley of flavor. The cheese is moderately greasy, which is delicious (or you can dab it off . The pepperonis are also good, although I don’t recall ever having a bad pepperoni. You will find yourself having to slow down while eating this pizza your taste buds will demand more than you can safely put in your mouth. Five stars, well done!

Mario's is the NY-style pizza. Delicious. Now I always command. Call ahead. The mall is too busy to just show up and expect a fast service. Watch the workers. They move as fast as possible.

Have been going here since it opened.. love there single slice pizza (huge!l)!! Always fresh and they have no problem cooking it the way you like, mine is extra crispy yuuuuumm.. one downfall is I have recently moved back after 2 years of being away and things changed a little.. taste different.. not bad just different.. was there a change of ownership? Still gave 5 stars as the pizza is still awsome, timely and the service has been decently courteous.

Very good pizza just like it's supposed to be made. Great crispy crust and just the right amount of cheese.. Reminded me of the pizza from New Jersey and that reason is that is where they are from. If your driving thru take the exit it is worth it and if your a local don't miss out on a true slice of pizza. Keep up the good work Mario's.

This pizza place has Delicious pies, wonderful crust, delicious ingredients, and unparalleled speed. I recommend any pizza with their meatballs or sausage topping and you can ask for customizations like light sauce or extra cheese. I love the fact that you can order online or on your phone and have a pizza within 15 minutes.
