Texas Roadhouse - McDonough

I've been craving a juicy steak. Tonight's meal hit the spot.

Was told we were to have a 45min wait but ended up waiting almost 2hours to be seated. The management was horrible. As a local they have lost my business.

They say everything in Texas is big, well at Texas Roadhouse, it is bigger and best. Crispy blooming onion that teases your tongue. Chicken fried that dominate your mouth. Green beans and creamy mashed potatoes that make you scream. It was a heavenly baked sweet potato. Don't forget the Ranger critters for your up and coming young cowhands. Yall drop on by and find out what the fuss is about.

We went last night. I ordered an alcoholic drink. It was koolaid. I asked if I could just exchange it for something else. The waiter said that all drinks were final. I mentioned that there are no signs up nor are there any wordings on the menus stating that. So she said she would go get the manager. Instead of the manager coming, the waiter came right back and said “yeah she said there’s nothing we can do. All sales are final” so a little time had passed and we saw the manager coming towards us. She spoke to every single table and side eyed us and kept walking. Then when she walked past us she turned to look at us again and kept it moving. I’m not sure what the issue was but I didn’t like that energy, also if all sales are final for drinks then it should say it at least SOMEWHERE in the restaurant. My steak was overcooked. The food and drinks took forever. This place is always packed. They need to build another one in the next city over like Stockbridge. Not satisfied.

Two of our party had their steaks way over cooked, another person had cheese sauce on chicken that should have been left off and another had no croutons on the ceasar salad plus no sour cream on their potato. 3 of our group had their meal cooked as requested. It took so long to get our food no one sent anything back. I wasnt going to complain but an option to rate your experience came up on my phone. There you have it. Our server Brittney was great. I doubt I will want to ahain soon. We wait so long to get seated, then wait another 45 minutes for food that was not cooked as requested. I wish I had taken a picture of one steak. It looked completely burnt. Meals ranged from $15 to $30. We just focused on enjoying the company we were with. ?
