Nana's Chicken-n-waffles - McDonough

First time coming to this place! Everything i had was delicious! The only thing I was not satisfied with is that they were would of almost all of the appetizers and biscuits. Hopefully next time they will be better stocked to serve all of the items on theirmenu. The chicken and waffles were delicious! The chicken was very tender and seasoned well. The shrimp and grits was different,but i liked it a lot! I would definitely come back again.

Saw on Instagram. It's okay. I had the apple cinnamon waffle and chicken and peach cobble waffle and chicken and scrambled eggs. The apple cinnamon is just a cinnamon batter waffle. The peach cobbler waffle was good. It had whipped cream, peachcobbler and cream cheese on top. The chicken that comes with it are fried wings. They were not flavorful. There was a 20 minutewait at 1pm on a Wednesday because inside is small. The service was good overall.

Great meal and overall experience! Valet parking is required which wasn?t an issue. We were greeted by an amazing aroma, was told the wait would be 30 minutes, yet we were seated sooner. Small and quaint establishment, friendly staff and good musicplaying in the background. We ordered blackened catfish w/cheese grits, chicken and blueberry waffles with a side of friedcatfish. Taste was beyond expectations, one to be easily remembered. The rating should be much higher! Definitely a go to spot.The crowed continued to rotate during our meal. I?ll be back Nana?s.

Really enjoyed the experience! Our wait was short for a week day about 5 minutes. I had Nana's Plate with chicken wing upgrade.. My husband had an omelet with potatoes and Grits. He said the grits were okay. The service was wonderful. Our server was Alyssa.Enjoyed the food and music.

This was an awesome experience with my mom and sisters! The atmosphere, music, and food were all great! It felt good being back home for a weekend and experiencing this place after walking Stone Mountain. Definitely worth a visit. I would advise goingearlier in the day; they are really busy. The helpful part is they will alert you when it is your time. Our wait was about anhour so we did some shopping and then came back. I would recommend downloading the Yelp app to see your place in line. The waitstaff and valet guys were super nice and personable! I had the Peach Cobbler Waffle (I believe) and wings. The half and halfpeach tea and lemonade was delicious! The potatoes were okay, need a bit more seasoning but honestly with the portion sizes itwas not needed.
