フィードバックを提供するWe ordered the tasting menu along with the elk meatloaf. The meatloaf was delightful, but the green beans were excessively raw and crunchy. The lamb that came with the tasting menu was decent. However, the beet salad and the butterscotch crème dessert were truly enjoyable. Overall, the experience was good, but not outstanding. The service was acceptable, although there were long periods where we weren't checked on, and we had to ask a hostess for a dessert menu. To be honest, I would probably choose not to return.
Not an impressive experience. The food was just average. However, the bartender was fantastic and even created a special drink I asked for. Unfortunately, the server was quite inattentive throughout most of the evening. The food was decent, but they had run out of their specials by 7 PM, which was surprising given that we had reservations. We waited 15 minutes for the dessert menu and ultimately decided to leave when it became clear that we were not a priority. Service: Dine in.
This year, my favorite restaurant in McCall has been a spacious, beautifully decorated spot with large windows offering stunning views of the lake and beach. The bar area is fantastic, and the outdoor seating is inviting, complete with tables and shade trees. Chris, who helped us with our dinner reservation and order, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, as well as the history and information about the town. Our meal was excellent, and the hors d’oeuvres were equally impressive. The restaurant boasts an extensive wine selection that is reasonably priced, alongside an affordable menu. During the week, they offer dinner specials, and we took advantage of their "Thai Night" specials, which featured delicious local yak dishes. As for parking, there's plenty of free street parking available near the restaurant.
Fine dining isn't common in this lakeside town, but Rupert's comes quite close. The food is delightful, although I was puzzled by the fish being flown in from New Zealand. On the other hand, the meats are locally sourced, and the wine selection is impressive. It happened to be an unusually hot weekend, and the air conditioning was struggling, so we opted to sit outside. It was lovely, though we were seated in plastic chairs. Overall, the service was excellent for dine-in.
Absolutely awful service. The staff at the front desk were quite rude. When we requested to speak with the manager after having made a reservation three days in advance, he seemed completely indifferent, as if our presence didn’t matter at all. So, we decided to walk out. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1.
