Au Chant du Grillon - Mazirat

The restaurant is located 20km from Montluçon, in the village of Mazirat. It's the right country restaurant as we imagine in a town after selling to the bestials. we had not reserved and despite the time they served us a splendid plate of charcuterie, followed by a pintade with potatoes. all accompanied by a red wine of St. Worship. A treat! to finish a Norwegian omelet. When we took the coffee at the counter, we learned that the boss was a known restaurantmaker.

Yesterday Monday 15 August 2016 , we made an exquisite luncheon , a warm welcome , a full room , a gracious staff and listened , from the entrance to dessert as refined dishes , gustatives , (the basstin sauce melting in the mouth ) every hot served dish , finely decorated , beautiful and good plate and to finish a Norwegian omelette !!! Thank you for this time spent in your restaurant it was a real happiness. I highly recommend it and we will soon be back to it so much we enjoyed it.

Yes, a country restaurant, but with urban rate .a huge room without intimate and noisy space. side kitchen two menus 27€50 and 34€50 with a third dish see even on the menu 3 dishes of supplements of 2€ on the plate of st jacques,puis the beef net and on dessert the Norwegian omelette it makes a menu to 40€50, which was our case.

A new visit to this reputed establishment in the Montluçon region. For info the restaurant is not located in the town of Montluçon as indicated on the site but that of mazirat (03420) 20 km from the city near the Rochebut dam.For this group meal for 50 people we have been very well treated. The meal was perfect, the plates were very well garnished with quality and fresh products, fast and attentive service. If you want to eat with generous portions for an attractive price, you can go to this establishment with closed eyes. The place is rustic, the services without chichi.Test their Norwegian omelet specialty, a delight.
