Family Delicatessen - Maynard

After being bored with some of the sandwhich places in our town we ventured over to Maynard and honestly picked this place by random and it didn’t disappoint. The meat to bread ratio was perfect on the Italian. They had the staple sandwiches any Deli would have and then they have several others that were named after different people with their own spin on them. Plenty of parking when we were there in the early evening , and good location within walking distance to all the shops etc.We would def check them out again.

I live on the south shore but have been working out in Acton and stumbled across this place. Old school deli shop feel, reminds me of That's Italian Too in Weymouth but honestly their sandwiches don't compare to this place. I don't know if they make their meatballs, sauce, hot peppers and bread all in-house but it sure seems/tastes like it. The pastry is great here too. If you get the Family Italian you gotta get the hot peppers on it. This will be a mandatory stop any time I travel up to NH or VT and I'd probably make the drive out just to eat here on the weekend. If you live anywhere near here and enjoy deli sandwiches, support this place because they're a rare breed.

Quickly has become a staple in the town, family run everything from cannolis antipasto sandwiches, soups they got it all. Can’t recommend this place enough!

These guys make some of the best deli sandwiches in MA. Super fresh, generous portions and great prices. Been coming since they opened and it's only improved.

They have boars head which is a staple to every good cold cuts parlor. And I'd definitely go again. Their sandwiches are very unique with their own twist on every sandwich. Definitely different than just being a plain old shop. It's kind of old
