Sakura Express - Maumee

The Spicy Tuna roll is sooo good and portion size is generous when it comes to sushi rolls. I can't stand through two reels.

This is a fantastic little sushi and hibachi spot in Maumee. Tyler provided excellent service, and the food was served hot, quickly, and was absolutely delicious.

I tried a few of the smaller, more affordable sushi rolls, and they were quite good—two of them made for a satisfying meal. On two occasions, I ordered the Steak Hibachi, and it was perfectly cooked: just the right amount of pink, tender, flavorful beef, and a generous portion. I was honestly surprised by the quality of the beef and how well it was cooked; it didn’t even need any sauce. The fried rice was nice as well, though I would have liked a bit more egg, as I prefer it when it's more similar to Chinese fried rice. Overall, I definitely plan to return!

This small strip mall features a nice variety of food options. While we waited for our Tesla to charge, we enjoyed some tasty rolls and a seaweed salad. Our order took about 12 minutes to prepare. We dined outside of Chipotle, and I must say, the restrooms were very clean, which is definitely appreciated.
