Truth Grill Chill - Mauldin

We ordered a burger with mac and cheese and rice and gravy, and wings with an order of fries to go. Our food took 25 minutes to make. The side of fries is over $5 and they forgot them! And the gravy was sooo salty it had grains of salt in it. I even tipped the server 20% for togo. Very very mad. Over $40 for absolute garbage.

I purchased breakfast for two. Chicken and waffles and fish and grits. The fish had no flavor and was old (appeared to be freezer burnt) The grits had no flavor. Will not eat there again.

They've gotten popular and don't really care about great service anymore. Food is still good.. still lit..just service has gone down if you're not looking for the fun Sunday vibe.

First time visitors and we were very pleased. Its a very nice and clean establishment with several TV screens to watch the football games they have some nice music playing as well. Our waiter was very courteous and kept a check on us to make sure we were ok. My husband ordered the oxtails, rice and gravy, mac and cheese, cabbage and cornbread. I had the glazed salmon over yellow rice, cabbage and green beans with a strawberry mimosa. When I tell you the food was delicious, it was a hit. We didn't leave anything on our plate. Truth Grill and Chill, we'll definitely be back!! For anyone reading this review, come on out and support them, you won't be disappointed.

I ordered a tray of green beans, and while they were delicious, I don't think they were worth $70. I won't be making that mistake again.
