Sausage, Pepperoni, Garlic Basil Pizza: Appearance Chicago cut, eye pleasing pizza. Basil could use a bit more even spread. Nice, thin, soft perfectly cooked crust no cracker here) 4/5 Taste No need for parmesan or red pepper here. Solid pizzawith a good foundation of ingredients. The basil smells REALLY nice. With every bite you get a few pieces of garlic whichcompliments the sauce well. The sauce is mid range, not too flavorful, but robust enough to not leave you with a feeling thatsomething is lacking. The pepperoni is not showing up in the flavor profile even though there 's definitely a ton of it. 4/5 Meatball sandwich: Appearance Beautiful sandwich. One of the best meatball sandwiches I 've ever seen. The cheese ismelted over the meatballs albeit not browned so they probably poured it from a bowl or melting pot instead of putting it in anoven. This helps keep the rest of the ingredients from drying out, but maybe take a torch to it brown it a bit afterwards fora more delectable appearance. They also missed the peppers on one meatball. 4/5 Taste Quite good. On some bites you get anodd sugar hit they sprinkled sugar on the sweet peppers it seems which is my first time experiencing this so it 's weird.)Everything works well although the bread should be a bit larger considering the massive size of the meatballs. A soft hoagiebread probably would contain this better. Trying to eat the thing was a mess as the sauce soaked through the bread 's middlewhich caused it to split into separate halfs. Other than the actual eating experience, the ingredients themselves are good. Thesauce stands out a bit more here since the meatballs have relatively mild seasoning. 4/5 Overall: Rosati 's offers a solid menufor a fairly inexpensive price. A medium pizza is $14 the toppings are $2 each. A basic meatball sandwich is $9. Adding thebells whistles to the sandwich only brough it up to $11 so definitely not a bank breaker there. The first time I remember. It seems to be a franchise location, just on foot. They looked at me the pizza that was in the pane and asked if I wanted sausages. Since the other varieties didn't look so hot, I said yes. Have not seen pieces posted, but you see they have paper menu 's. Someone asked about a 16 oz bottle of soda and they said $2.25 ish. Hey. They're gone. So the 2 slices and 2 soda 's tried for $11. Pizza took a few, but was hot. I'm always waiting for fresh. Was not bad, good size, but a little hard as for me. The sausage was big and slightly fat. No napkins were included when they bag it with the exception of cheese packages. The other piece in the g/f about 20 minutes away and was still very warm. I kept it on my car floor with the heater to make sure. She liked it.
I am very impressed with Rosati’s in Matteson, IL! Twice recently I’ve placed fairly large specific orders with requests for delivery later that day or the next day. Both times, they got my order COMPLETELY CORRECT, down the the minute. It’s so nice being able to entertain not have to worry if/when the food will arrive, if the order will be missing anything, if I was charged correctly, etc. Thank you Rosati’s, Matteson! Please keep it up!
I really enjoy the pizza from here; it tastes amazing! I like it much more than Beggars.
