Subway - Mattawan

The place likes to take advantage of having semi trucks park or come in to fuel but you can't park here. Owner claims the police will come in and ticket you because the fuel trucks can't unload. He claims there was four tanks but could not show where there was anything by the truck parking area. Definitely not a good place to stop for your break. He stated that the designated truck parking was for 3 hours when available. He didn't have and answer when I said trucks must stop for 10 hours.

In my opinion, this is the best subway restaurant and the only one truly worth visiting.

I stopped by this restaurant on my way to the Detroit area, as I needed to refuel, grab a bite to eat, and get some drinks. The location is quite convenient, situated just off the highway amidst a series of traffic circles. The place feels relatively new, and it offers nearly everything you'd expect from a Speedway. The gas prices were reasonable, and they had a nice selection of hot food. Overall, it was a decent experience.

I was interested in the ultimate cheesy garlic bread that was advertised, but she cut me off mid-order to inform me that they didn’t have it and never had it, all while using a tone that implied I should have already known that—despite the signage promoting it. Eventually, she rushed me, saying she needed to catch up, which made me give up entirely. I ended up grabbing something from Speedway instead, because I was hungry and would rather eat a microwave cheeseburger than deal with someone who treated me like a nuisance instead of a valued customer. Corporate Subway, this is how your customers are being treated at this branch. Please do better.
