Valois - Mattawa

Great food as the portions were large (even for the kids meals) and all of the food is made fresh. Our table had burgers, Pot pie and Haddock special and no one was disappointed! Very happy with our meals... And price. The restaurant looks a little tired and it was a very buys joint. Thanks for the great lunch!

Once upon a time it was the place to stop on our way north. It has been allowed to stagnate and is in need of rejuvenation.

I visited this restaurant with my Japanese exchange student, my mother, and my sister. Unfortunately, I found that all 12 tables were dirty and there were no clean ones available.

There aren't many options for lunch in Mattawa, but I decided to play it safe and ordered the club sandwich. It was delicious with no problems. The restaurant offers a beautiful view overlooking the Ottawa River.

This restaurant is the absolute worst dining option in the area.
