Chooks-to-go - Matina

I have visited this restaurant many times. Unfortunately, they often tell me that they do not have change. It is quite frustrating. Even when I pay with a 100 peso bill, I still do not receive any change.

We stopped by a small food stand called Chooks To Go on the side of the main street. I was curious about the name - was "chook" just another word for chicken? Despite my initial skepticism, I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was. Even without any sauces, the chicken was delicious, reminding me of pre-marinated pork barbecue but in whole chicken form. It paired perfectly with white rice. Overall, a pretty darn good meal.
