I don't normally give a 5 star review unless everything from start to finish was superb, and this birthday celebration dinner for my son was just that. Friendly staff, good food, and a really fun and entertaining atmosphere is exactly why we picked hibachi dinner to celebrate my son's 4th birthday. I ordered the shrimp tempura roll as an appetizer and it was one of the best I have ever eaten. Then we all ordered from the hibachi menu and I got the steak and shrimp combo. I like how you have a choice of either fried rice or noodles. The noodles were a huge hit for my son and that is mainly what he ate. The chef knew it was for my son (4yrs old) and said he went light on the sauce so that it wouldn't be too much for him. He also cut up the chicken in much smaller pieces than for the adults which was very nice. The attention to each individual persons needs you could tell mattered to the chef. That stood out to me the most. The entertainment was the cook and I could tell he genuinely enjoyed his work. We finished off the dinner with staff singing happy birthday and enjoying the best fried ice cream. I forgot how much I loved fried ice cream. This location will now be my go-to spot for both good sushi and a fun hibachi dinner. I can't wait to return!
I think we have officially hit 3 strikes and you are out. Constantly forgetting things on our orderWe ordered a hibachi steak dinner and they just completely skipped our rice, if you dip any sushi rolls they just fall apart Bummer
For starters i always order takeout from here every single week. A few weeks ago while ordering takeout the woman on the phone told me that they have a special of 2 sushi rolls with soup and salad for $14 . She asked if i would like to order their special and i said ofcourse. I have ordered from that special takeout for the past 3 weeks straight. I called today to order my usual spicy tuna rolls and the woman on the phone sounded different and gave me an attitude. So i asked her a rhetorical question about the special if it came with soup and salad . Knowing that it does but i wanted to make sure she knew that . She immediately gets aggressive and says that the special is ONLY for dine in. I asked to speak to her manager because she was just being rude , and i hoped i would speak to a professional manager. And he was far from that. I explained this all to him and he just kept saying that he doesn’t believe me that that he doesn’t think that i ordered the special out before. He was also giving me an attitude like the other employee. I am disappointed in the staff today. That manager does not respect customers and i have no reason to lie. I also found the receipt as well so maybe he can believe it now. I work in the restaurant industry, i always tip on my takeout orders and i always tip their servers at least 25%. I treat them all with respect as i do to everyone and am appalled at the service . Also, I am not writing the review because i did not get the special, i am writing it because they should not speak to anyone like this.
